Home and School Association

The Home & School Association is composed of all school parents, staff, and a board of officers: president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. These elected positions each serve a two-year term, with two offices up for election every other year. The association provides parents with volunteer opportunities, enrichment seminars, and a forum for voicing questions and concerns.

Parent education programming is provided by Title I and the Home & School Association. Programs are determined through parent or school recommendations or from the Title I district office. Parents have had the opportunity to hear about cyber-safety from the Florida Attorney General’s office, listen to advice from noted author and speaker John Rosemond, ask questions of guidance counselors from local Catholic high schools, understand about bullying, and learn how to enjoy parenting and use positive reinforcement with the FISH program.
